To all Senior Instructors

There seems to be some confusion over what happens when you are graded and what happens if you did not get graded at one of the zone gradings. So I have had this small piece posted to try to help clear up any confusion. Riders that were Zone graded now can jump at all fixtures with that combination and they now just go up the grades through the point system.

If for some reason they would like to be up-graded the club senior instructor can do this but they must realise that if they can not handle the higher grade they can not go back until they attend another grading and apply to be down graded.

Riders who were club graded and had not yet quite reached a suitably safe and controlled standard to satisfy the panel that they are a competent combination must now resume their practice and training at rally days but can not jump at competitions until at least after June 30th on their club grading. This only gives them a bit over a month's training to improve and some may still not be ready and this is then up to the senior instructor to carefully decide. Remembering that they must be able to jump a course with control individually not just through a grid set up. They can then compete at gymkhanas.

Riders who have a new combination and and want to be club graded can be assessed by the senior instructor and providing they meet the requirements as mentioned above can be club graded after June 30th and can then compete at gymkhanas. All these club graded riders must be zone graded next year.

Hope this answers all the questions.

Regards Kriss
